For students taking the ACT and SAT

Laura Crochet works with students one-on-one to identify strengths and weaknesses in test performance. Although a portion of time is dedicated to reviewing math concepts, grammar, and vocabulary, the bulk of Laura's approach involves improving test-taking performance.

Laura is also available to work with students to prepare for secondary school admission tests (SSAT and ISEE). However, these sessions are limited to test format and general tips.

Laura provides high school students with one-on-one, targeted tutoring for standardized tests, particularly the SAT. Laura is available to work with your student for an additional fee if he or she would like individual help for one session or over a course of sessions. Laura holds a degree in cognitive science from Rice University and has considerable experience working with secondary students to identify and address specific strengths and weaknesses.
